They don't half stand out in the countryside.

John - Kenmoor is Up and Away is an unknown jig to me, even the internet can't help me. That's not to say I wouldn't recognise it if I heard it. I once could do The Hens March to the Midden on the mouth organ but at a fraction of the proper speed. Mike Harding has been enthusing about Brendan Power of late with some reason.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbJ84ESfKOs

Thanks Jim, The etched glass was lovely, I seem to be a sucker for anything glass. I'm sure the Hong Kong toilets would have been well worth a look to - I've been known to take the odd picture of interesting things in loos but you have to be carefull not to get caught or else you appear to be up to no good - an interesting lady's loo door would be just a little too much on the risky side.Sandy's witteringshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05009803939431014995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3473643361564881319.post-87195747197094257802012-07-29T22:14:21.582+01:002012-07-29T22:14:21.582+01:00You certainly come up with original posts Sandy.
T...You certainly come up with original posts Sandy.
That was certainly one ornate door.
I love the etched glass. There used to be quite a lot of etched windows in the pubs I used to frequent as a youngster in Fife.
I remember one on a toilet door in Hong Kong portraying the Brussels 'Manneken Pis'. I think the ladies had some sort of Can-Can etching, I never got to look too close. The Glebe Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09609629219727888442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3473643361564881319.post-36037512544535896522012-07-29T06:48:11.569+01:002012-07-29T06:48:11.569+01:00The etched window is truly beautiful. The etched glass is beautiful, seemed to complement the white exterior of the church, which is also rather uncommon I think.Shundohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08626305350101368912noreply@blogger.com
