Enjoyed the boat trips though.
The only thing at school was the need to learn the lines that went "Is this a dagger", for a school play.
Very entertaining post Sandy.

The Glebe Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09609629219727888442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3473643361564881319.post-10976081099555627932013-09-05T08:53:55.834+01:002013-09-05T08:53:55.834+01:00Thanks Val. The Scottish National Trust tend to furnish (often from a central stock of period stuff they have when houses are not so full) and Historic Scotland (English Heritage is your equivalent) don't, though often their buildings are little more than ruins. I like to see them furnished appropriately, it helps bring them to life.Sandy's witteringshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05009803939431014995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3473643361564881319.post-32969190755354134632013-09-04T22:08:20.575+01:002013-09-04T22:08:20.575+01:00Brilliant blog Sandy! Your photos are great as always, I love the way historic houses/ castles etc have been furnished in the appropriate way, so much more interesting than visiting an empty shell. The font was interesting too, just a shame it is on such a modern stand, thanks for sharing :)
Poppy (aka Val)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16587141292168333896noreply@blogger.com
