Anneke Kuyper

In a little room in Rembrandt's house is a delightful exhibition of mainly prints, but the odd painting, by current artist Anneke Kuyper. The internet seems to know next to nothing about her, so all I can do is show you some of her pictures

The next eight or so pictures are Ex Libris plates and you're probably looking at them larger than real life here (unless you have a very small screen in front of you)

Look at the bears hands - they're human shaped.

Yeah, I like her style. You're right, nothing much about her on the web. Did find that she was born in 1942.

That and that she used to be married to the late Lou Strik (another artist). So what if the world doesn't seem to know about her, we do now.

I visited the exhibition while in Amsterdam and visiting Rembrandt House. I really liked it. Unfortunately I didn't note the name of the artist and then spend a lot lot of time trying to find it. Finally I succeeded, thank you for your post :).
I especially liked the print "Dance of Fishes", the second illustration of this post. I was delighted to find at least a photo of it on this page.
Could I please ask for a copy of this photo in a higher resolution? I would like to straighten the perspective and keep it :). My e-mail julsomp@gmail.com. Thank you :)

Thank you Wouter - I see it's only available in Dutch so far but that bit under construction looks like it might be going to be English.
Still plenty of pictures to see though.
